SoftWave is a machine that sends sound waves into tissue. Your body reads those waves as a signal to repair.
The clinic's materials say the waves may lower swelling, boost blood flow and turn on stem cells (cells that can grow into new tissue). SoftWave devices have FDA 510(k) clearance for some uses, such as improving blood supply and activating connective tissue (the bands that hold joints together).
